Portland, OR (April 25, 2026) — Two people were seriously injured Saturday morning in a crash involving two semi-trucks on northbound Interstate 5 near the I-405 interchange, just south of the Marquam Bridge. According to the Portland Police, the crash was reported around 10:40 a.m.
Investigators said one semi-truck driver allegedly did not slow for traffic ahead, swerved, and struck another semi-trailer. The driver of that truck and a passenger were both seriously injured and transported to the hospital. The other truck driver was not injured. Authorities have stated that no citations have been issued and the investigation remains ongoing.
