Woodburn, Oregon (9/25/2021) — There was a multi-car crash on the northbound Interstate five miles north of Woodburn.
A Freightliner driver rear-ended a Subaru vehicle, which was slowing down for traffic. This created a chain reaction involving four other cars being involved in the accident.
Andrew Dutterer, 43, died at the scene of the accident and the rest were transported to the hospital sustaining minor injuries.
The northbound lanes were closed for several hours.
