One Died in Head-On Crash on Highway 219

Josephine County, Oregon (05/23/2022) The accident occurred on Hwy. 219 at French Prarie Rd. NE Friday around 4:30 p.m. Ford Ranger was traveling northbound after failing to stop at a stop sign, the pickup crashed head-on into a southbound Mack CMV.

Unfortunately, the Ford Ranger driver was pronounced dead. The second driver was uninjured in the accident.

The roadway was closed for four hours during the investigation.
