One Died in a Semi-Truck Crush on SR 12 and 1st Street

Yakima, Washington (03/01/2022) –The accident happened on SR 12 and 1st Street in Yakima on Tuesday. According to Washington State Patrol just before 4 a.m. at the intersection a semi-truck and trailer rolled off an overpass.

Unfortunately, the driver was pronounced deceased at the scene.

The section of a road remained closed in both directions for WSP investigation.
