Canby, Oregon (11/19/2021) —The accident occurred Friday Morning on South Mulino Road near Blublack Andell Road. Black Acura SUV collided with an upcoming maroon sedan in an attempt to pass another car on the no-passing zone of South Mulino Road.
Canby firefighters who were first on the scene, removed with hydraulic tools roof and the doors of the sedan to extract the teen driver. Unfortunately, he was pronounced dead on the scene. Two passengers, 12 and 10 years old, were sent to the hospital with minor injuries.
The driver of a black Acura SUV, 17 years old, was taken to the hospital with unknown injuries.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
