Keizer, Oregon (1/22/2022) — The accident occurred on Saturday morning. Gray Dodge pick-up truck crashed into the side of the house in Keizer, OR.
One resident of the house was pronounced dead at the scene. Another resident was taken to the hospital with serious injuries. According to the neighbors, the second resident was paralyzed from the waist down from the injuries.
The driver of the Dodge was on probation for a previous DUII and his license was suspended. At the time of the crash his blood alcohol content of 0.24, was three times the legal limit.
The man was charged with first-degree manslaughter, second-degree assault, reckless endangerment, reckless driving, driving under the influence of intoxicants, driving while criminally suspended, second-degree criminal mischief, and a probation violation.
