Walton, Oregon (04/10/2022) — The accident occurred on Highway 126 near Walton on Sunday around 11:44 a.m. A dark blue Honda Civic was traveling westbound when it left its lane and struck an eastbound Toyota Tundra pickup.
Unfortunately, the Honda Civic driver, an 18-year-old Colton Kenneth Rice from Monroe was pronounced dead at the scene. The four people from the pickup truck were transported to the hospital with minor injuries.
The Highway remained closed for about four hours after the accident.
