Milton-Freewater, Oregon (9/30/2021) — Around 7:30 am a northbound Cadillac vehicle drifted into the oncoming lane just south of Stateline Road. The vehicle struck a transit van.
Victor Santana-Torres, 23, sustained serious injuries, then was pronounced dead. The other driver involved was transported to a medical center with serious injuries.
The two-vehicle accident occurred on Highway 11 near milepost 35. The crash shut down the highway for the majority of the day.
The accident is still being investigated.
