Bicyclist Dies in Crash on The Highway 101

The accident occurred around 6:11 p.m. on Saturday near milepost 25 on Highway 101.

Nissan Frontier was headed north on the highway, the car left its line and hit a bicyclist who headed north on the bike line.

Unfortunately, the bicyclist was pronounced deceased on the scene.

The highway was closed for about 4.5 hours after the crash.

Authorities are still investigating the accident.
