Pedestrian Killed and Teen Injured in Washington Truck Accident

Sad story last week in the Seattle Post-Intelligencer concerning a young woman who was killed after being struck by a pickup truck that veered on to the sidewalk where she was walking with a teen companion. The teen was injured – thankfully nothing life-threatening. Police are still investigating the cause of the accident including whether the truck driver was under the influence of alcohol.
