One Died in The Crash on I-84

Union County, Oregon (03/09/2022) — The accident happened on Highway I-84 near milepost 259 before 9 a.m. on Wednesday.

Silver Mercedes GLS was moving eastbound when a blue semi-truck hit the left side of the Mercedes. Unfortunately, the Mercedes driver died at the scene. The passenger of the Mercedes and the semi-truck driver weren’t hurt.

The section of a road remained closed eastbound direction for about 6 hours after the crash.

Authorities are still investigating the accident.
