The Oregon Trial Lawyers Association

The Oregon Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA) is Oregon’s largest plaintiffs’ bar association, representing more than 1,000 attorneys and support staff who advocate for injured consumers, patients, workers, and all Oregonians whose rights have been violated, often by powerful corporations.

The organization works to uphold the constitutions of Oregon and the United States through fair and just laws, fighting to protect individual rights, and ensure open and equitable courtrooms. With continuing legal education, professional publications, and advocacy at the state and federal levels, OTLA equips its members to protect access to justice and hold wrongdoers accountable.

Tom D’Amore and D’Amore Law Group have served the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association (OTLA) for over three decades, including as President from 2010 to 2011 and as a Leadership Academy Sponsor since 2017.

Tom authored the “Rules of the Road” chapter of the OTLA Motor Vehicle Deskbook, has spoken at numerous OTLA events, and has been recognized with OTLA’s Arthur H. Bryant Public Justice Award in 2016.

He remains committed to OTLA’s mission in ensuring equal access to justice and strengthening Oregon’s justice system.
