Portland, Oregon (06/07/2022) — The accidents occurred East of Northeast 100th Avenue and Northeast Glisan Street on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. the driver of a truck hit a male riding an E-bike, then left the area. The pedestrian died at the scene before Police officers arrived.
The truck was found in North Precinct, and the driver of the truck has been captured. The truck has been taken as evidence.
The driver, 41-year-old Kenlly Leyvachi, was taken to the Multnomah County Detention Center and charged with Manslaughter in the First Degree, Reckless Driving, and Failure to Perform the Duties of a Driver.
