Portland, Oregon (01/02/2022) — According to the Portland Police Department accident occurred on Interstate 5 Northbound near South Macadam Avenue on Sunday around 11:20 p.m.
Car was traveling South on the Northbound line. Unfortunately, when PPD arrived at the scene the driver traveling in the right direction was pronounced dead. The driver who caused an accident was transported to the near hospital.
After an accident Interstate 5 near South Macadam Avenue was closed till early Monday morning.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
