Holiday Toy Safety

With the holiday season upon us, many of us are starting that hunt for the perfect gift for friends and family. It is easy to forget about the reality that some gifts may be dangerous. Toys cause nearly 200,000 injuries to children 15 years and younger every year. Toys are meant to bring joy into the lives of children, and it’s unbearable to think that there have been toys out there that have caused serious injuries. So when I came across this blog on holiday toy safety, I wanted to pass the link along. The Oregon Consumer website is a great resource for consumers with regular updates about products to watch out for. In addition, there is a Facebook page allowing for more interaction. These are sites that should be checked on regularly for all issues affecting consumers.
