Stanwood, Washington (11/25/2021) — According to the Washington State Patrol, at 3:50 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day, Ford Escape was heading westbound on Highway 532 when it was hit by a Volkswagen Jetta. The Ford got pushed on eastbound of the Highway where was hit by Toyota Avalon.
Two people with serious injuries were hospitalized at Providence Regional Medical Center Everett. The woman, passenger of Ford, unfortunately, was pronounced deceased at the scene.
The Highway was closed for several hours after the accident.
Authorities are still investigating the accident.
