Crash Causes I-5 Delays

Portland, Oregon (1/17/2022) — According to the Portland Police Bureau, the accident occurred on Monday morning past the Terwilliger entrance.

Toyota Avalon headed the wrong way in a northbound direction. The car crashed head-on with a semi-truck. Authorities that arrived on the scene found two people with mild injuries pinned inside of Toyota. After Portland Fire and Rescue and AMR paramedics removed them they were taken to a local hospital. The semi-truck driver was uninjured.

All lines on I-5 remained closed till 9 a.m. that morning.

Authorities are still investigating the accident.
