Two Injured in Head-on Crash on Cascade Lakes Highway

Cascade Lakes Highway, Oregon (04/01/2022) — The accident occurred on Highway 372 near milepost 7 around 4:45 p.m. Gray Subaru Crosstrek was driving eastbound when it crossed the double yellow line and collided head-on with a blue Toyota pickup that was moving westbound.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital with serious but not life-threatening injuries.

The Subaru driver’s alcohol blood content was 0.14% he was cited in place of custody for DUII, Assault III, and Reckless Driving.

Authorities are still investigating the accident.
