Marion County, Oregon (1/28/2022) — The accident occurred on Highway 99E near milepost 34 on Friday afternoon.
According to the Oregon State Police, the motorcycle was speeding when it ran off the road, hit a telephone pole, and caught fire. The motorcycle driver was pronounced dead on the scene.
Highway traffic was impacted for three hours.
