Seattle Company Recalls Frozen Sausage Products Due To Undeclared Allergens

The U.S. Department of Agriculture's Food Safety and Inspection Service ("FSIS") announced last Friday that Cascioppo Brothers Meats, Inc., based in Seattle, Washington, is recalling approximately 2,000 pounds of frozen sausage products because they may contain undeclared allergens, milk and soy.

The FSIS stressed that it had not received any reports of illness due to consumption of these products, but that anyone concerned about an allergic reaction should contact a physician.
