Rachel Elder

Rachel Elder has worked as a paralegal for the past 11 years, predominantly in plaintiff’s side civil litigation with a focus on catastrophic personal injury and medical malpractice matters. Rachel has also worked as a paralegal supporting criminal defense attorneys representing indigent clients; done probate and estate planning paralegal work; family law; and construction defect litigation. Rachel has an associate degree in paralegal studies from Portland Community College and a bachelor’s degree from the University of Redlands Johnston Center for Integrative Studies. Rachel’s grandmother became a lawyer in 1974, her father worked as a lawyer from 1975 to 2012, and her sister works as a paralegal.
Rachel is a west coast native, living in Washington and California before making Portland, Oregon her home in 2007 where she now lives with her husband, high school aged son, and elementary school aged daughter. Rachel enjoys attending local theater productions and reading in her spare time.”
