One Dead in Head-On Crash With Semi-Truck

Oakridge, Oregon (04/26/2022) — The accident occurred on Highway 58 near milepost 23, about 12 miles west of Oakridge Tuesday around 5:30 p.m.

Ford F-150 was moving eastbound when he crossed the center line and collided head-on with a semi-truck.

Unfortunately, Ford F-150 driver Gary Elliot Jr., 27, of Oakridge died at the accident scene from fatal injuries.

The Highway remained closed for investigation for about six hours after the accident.
