SENIOR PARALEGAL
Melissa joined D’Amore Law Group as a Junior Paralegal in April of 2017. Melissa brings a strong background in legal assistance and customer support to the firm. Prior to working for D’Amore Law Group, Melissa worked as a legal assistant on construction defect work, asbestos litigation and an environmental defense case. In that role, she prepared and reviewed legal documents, assisted legal teams with trial preparation, and worked to make sure that cases moved along smoothly. She has also worked as a member service representative at a local credit union, where she managed multiple member accounts, drafted loan and legal documents, and worked with customers to ensure their issues were resolved. Through that, as well as her work as an assistant store supervisor at an Army and Air Force Exchange Service, she demonstrated exceptional customer service.
Melissa is a native Oregonian and graduated from Pioneer Pacific College with an Associate’s Degree in Paralegal Studies, an American Bar Association approved program. When she’s not working, she enjoys hiking, camping, riding motorcycles and cooking. She also volunteers at the Oregon food bank and enjoys spending time at her family’s cabin at the beach.
