Grand Ronde, Oregon (1/22/2022) — According to the Oregon State Police accident occurred on Highway 18 on Saturday around 5:40 p.m.
Black Mercedes 4D was heading west, near milepost 17 east of Grand Ronde car crossed into the eastbound and hit a Dodge van. Then another car, GMC, hit Dodge van, OSP said.
Unfortunately, the driver of the Mercedes died at the scene. His passenger and the driver and passenger of the Dodge van were taken to the hospital with injuries. The driver and passenger of the GMC pickup were not injured.
Highway 18 remained closed for about four hours after the accident.
