CONTROLLER
Janelle joined D’Amore Law Group in October 2020 as Controller after returning to her home State of Oregon to be near family again. Her experience as Controller working for law firms for the past 15 years, make her a great fit for the team. In addition to finance, she enjoys all aspects of running an office and has prior experience in Human Resources and Office Services. As a result, Janelle studied for and became a Certified Legal Manager (CLM) in 2015 through the Association of Legal Administrators. Janelle especially likes to troubleshoot problems and develop efficient processes.
Her two kitties are adopted Tuxedo cats who lost their original owners and terrorize the Tiny Home they all live in. Janelle’s husband is a Merchant Marine, so he joins the family when he is not at work. As a family, the four of them love sailing and being on the water. Janelle loves growing indoor plants, so much so, there are often plants to share.
