Emily joined D’Amore Law Group as a law clerk 2017, and became an attorney in October 2018. Prior to working at D’Amore law group, Emily worked as a law clerk for the Oregon Attorney General’s Office in the Consumer Protection and Financial Fraud section. At the Attorney General’s Office, she worked on a variety of consumer cases, including elder abuse, debt collection fraud, and vehicle emissions fraud. She graduated cum laude from Lewis & Clark Northwestern School of Law in 2018 with a focus on complex litigation and personal injury. She was Executive Editor for Lewis & Clark Law Review from 2017-2018, and was named Source Checker of the Year for Animal Law Review in 2016.
Emily is licensed to practice in Oregon, and she is active in the Oregon Trial Lawyers Association. She feels privileged to help clients navigate a legal system that can be intimidating and confusing.
Before law school, Emily worked as a veterinary technician at clinics in Oregon and Texas. Additionally, she served on the board of the Greyhound Adoption League of Texas from 2013-2014 and served as a volunteer for Austin Animal Center’s feral cat program. Emily grew up in Camas, Washington and graduated from University of Washington in 2011 with a BA in English Literature and Swedish. Outside of work, she enjoys cycling, baking, and spending time with her pets.
